Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor? Do you have a proven track record of leading teams within a manufacturing, logistics or FMCG environment? If so, this could be the role for you!

We are partnered with a leading global manufacturing business who are looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor to support their growing warehouse operation.

This role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate management of warehouse activities while driving employee engagement, performance and continuous improvement across the department.

This role is offered initially for 6 months with the potential to renew. This role involves working late shifts, 14:00-22:00 in which a rewarding shift premium is paid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor team performance and support achievement of operational KPIs.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions and employee development activities.
  • Manage attendance, holidays, return-to-work interviews and employee wellbeing.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers and communication across teams.
  • Coordinate workload and resources to meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Support cross-training and workforce flexibility initiatives.
  • Conduct GMP, safety and operational audits.
  • Escalate service, operational or performance issues appropriately.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience within warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience managing performance, attendance and employee development.
  • Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of GMP, Health & Safety and continuous improvement principles would be beneficial.
