My client, a defence based organisation are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support digital engineering projects.
The client requires a Business Analyst with experience in ONE or more of the following areas: Synthetics, ITEA or TLS.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business and stakeholder requirements.
- Manage requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Maintain requirements baselines, traceability and change control.
- Support requirement decomposition, allocation and impact assessments.
- Work closely with engineering, development and verification teams.
- Coordinate stakeholders and ensure requirements are aligned with technical delivery.
- Support reviews, validation activities, audits and governance.
- Produce and review business and technical documentation.
Essential Experience
- Strong Business Analysis and Requirements Management experience.
- Practical experience in one or more of:
- Synthetics - Model & Simulation
- ITEA - Integrated Test, Evaluation & Assurance / Virtual & Physical Testing, Qualification & Certification
- TLS - Training & Through Life Support
- Experience within Aerospace or Defence environments.
- Strong requirements elicitation, traceability and change management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering or supporting digital/engineering tools.
Desirable
- Knowledge of aircraft certification, qualification and regulatory processes.
- Experience working in regulated development environments.
- ArchiMate and/or TOGAF.
- Experience working with Defence Primes, MoD or system integrators/suppliers.
- Experience working across international/transnational teams.
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
