SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant - Contract

Location: UK (Midlands) - Hybrid
Contract: 5 months initially, with extensions
IR35: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) Consultant to lead solution design, configuration, and deployment across Finance and Controlling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead S/4HANA Finance solution design, configuration, and implementation.

• Gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and lead stakeholder workshops.

• Configure and support FI/CO, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost/Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, and Cash Management.

• Work closely with MM, SD, PP, and PS teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.

• Support data migration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

• Drive process improvements and adoption of SAP best practices.

Required Experience

• Proven years' SAP FICO/SAP Finance consulting experience.

• At least 1-2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.

• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), FI and CO.

• Strong configuration, testing, and business process design experience.

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• Experience with Bluefield / Selective Data Transition projects.

• Exposure to SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, and SAP Fiori.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.
