About the Role

ARM is recruiting on behalf of a well-established renewable energy organisation for a Renewable Energy Engineer / PV Installer to join a growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in construction or renewables to work on the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems across the UK.

The role offers hands-on experience across a variety of sites, with involvement in both installation and operations & maintenance activities within a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential, as the role will involve regular travel and working away across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of solar PV systems on a range of sites
• Support operations and maintenance activities on renewable energy assets
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver projects efficiently
• Follow technical plans and ensure installations meet required standards
• Maintain a proactive and safety-focused approach on-site
• Travel to and work on sites across the UK, including periods of working away

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in renewables, roof work, or general construction
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Methodical, accurate, and process-driven approach to tasks
• Flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends where required
• Willingness to regularly work away from home
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

• Previous solar PV installation experience
• Asbestos Awareness certification
• Telehandler licence
• MEWP 3a & 3b certification
• Working at heights training
• Manual handling training
• Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace
• CSCS card
