Document Controller

Location: Talacre, North Wales
Contract: 12 Months+
Rate: £320 per day (Outside IR35)
Start: ASAP

ARM is recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major energy infrastructure project supporting the decommissioning and Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) programme at Liverpool Bay.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project, ensuring the effective management and control of technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, control and distribution of engineering and technical documentation between project teams and the client.
• Ensure documents are transmitted accurately and within project timescales.
• Maintain document management systems, workflows, registers and reporting.
• Monitor document status, revisions, approvals and submissions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project teams with document control procedures and best practices.
• Produce document control reports and monitor project documentation progress.
• Coordinate the final handover of project documentation to the client.
• Provide guidance and support to project stakeholders on document management processes and systems.

About You

• 8-10 years' experience as a Document Controller within engineering, construction, energy, oil & gas, nuclear or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing large volumes of technical and engineering documentation.
• Strong understanding of document control procedures and document lifecycle management.
• Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Asite or similar.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
