Job Description
* Lead and support a team of Manufacturing Engineers to ensure an efficient production process through evolving and introducing the most suitable manufacturing processes for their products that deliver safe, high quality, repeatable, cost effective solutions with agreed, calculated time outputs.
* Manage & Lead the Manufacturing Engineers, to provide line/process support to the industrial function, problem solving, taking corrective actions and identifying further opportunities for improvement, ensuring consistency in approach.
* Ensure Manufacturing Engineering specifications, processes & best practices are implemented throughout ME documentation (SAP, Routings, WIS etc)
* Create a culture of innovation by embedding the participative innovation philosophy.
* Ensure embodiment of design / config change aligned to production rates & batching policy.
* Ensure that the performance of the process meets the defined targets of quality, cost & delivery through planning & prioritisation of team(s).
* Provide expert guidance to ME team & suppliers (internal / external).
* Develop effective training, development and succession plans to ensure the future skills of the Manufacturing Engineering function.
* PDRs & objective setting, monitoring & assessing.
* Define, implement & manage RDI & CCP resources and budgets.
* You will be required to communicate opportunities and work within the operational and technical teams to develop most efficient ways to use people, processes, parts and tooling.

Job Requirements
* Communication skills with a strong ability to coordinate and manage relationships with internal and external customers both in the UK and France.
* Self-driven, resourceful, independent whilst still working in a team environment, be target driven and be able to communicate at all levels of the business.
* An advocate for change in support of the integration of the Assemblies & Composites Manufacturing Engineering team.
