Paying up to £37,000 (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Interoperation of engineering drawings to fault find & identify spare parts required.
- Documenting & Prioritising work through a CMMS system
- Operate within all HS&E standards and Policies.
- Be responsible for the safe up keep and reliability of production assets used in the manufacturing of aircraft parts
Experience required:
- Hold a time served engineering maintenance apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3), OR HNC in mechanical engineering.
- Suitable experience working with furnaces, NDT equipment or surface finish equipment
- Must be able to read mechanical drawings including assembly and schematics.
- Fabrication and fitting skills (Core bench-fitting skills necessary).
- Ability to demonstrate fault finding skills/abilities.
- Have knowledge of lean, 5s & 6 sigma methodologies.
