ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious client who are actively seeking a Supply Chain Order Controller join them on a permanent basis.
The role of the Supply Chain Order Controller will be to ensure that suppliers manufacture and deliver products in line with the agreed plan to achieve required performance levels and customer commitments.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing delivery commitments shared by the suppliers through standard tools and processes ensuring all planning systems are accurately maintained and reporting key performance data.
* Identifying risk and where performance diverges from the plan, driving the urgent resolution of issues whilst ensuring root causes are understood and addressed
* Ensuring demand changes are understood and working with suppliers to realign where necessary to support customer requirements
* Managing inventory from suppliers and supporting inventory performance improvement.
* Leading structured reviews with suppliers ensuring load and capacity, material supply, resources, rate, product modifications and product introduction milestones are understood and executed in line with business needs.
* Occasional visits to suppliers both locally and on some occasions outside the UK.
Requirements
* Experience of working within a similar Planning & Control, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management or Operational Purchasing with APICS or equivalent qualifications
* Experience of SAP or an equivalent ERP/ MRP System and confident in data analysis with an aptitude to develop further
* Excellent communication skills, an ability to influence and work successfully with cross-functional teams in a rapidly changing environment.
* Skilled in using problem solving techniques to identify risks and putting the necessary corrective actions in place using the best skills and experiences from across the team
* Someone who is comfortable working both alone, with a high level of detail, but also works well as part of a team to improve overall business performance
