Supply Chain Team Leader - Guildford - Permanent - £35,000 - £41,000

We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis in Guildford, Surrey.

As a Supply Chain Team Leader, you will report into the Supply Chain - Operations Manager, you will be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team Procurement & Supply Chain Department.

Responsibilities
* Manage the provision of goods and services to all departments (clinical and non-clinical)
* Responsible for ensuring that all processes and working practices are fully compliant,
* Manage the Material Management teams to ensure that a safe, quick and efficient service is provided.
* Responsible for expediting orders and following up with supplier backorders.
* Responsible for delivering KPI's re daily operational activities within the supply chain procurement process.
* Working with Finance counterparts to resolve any issues.
* Work with buying teams, manage completion of requests, delivery of requirements for end-users.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of new supply chain/stock control systems.

Requirements
* Proven Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Inventory Management
* Understand of inventory systems and ability to support a team with them.
* Leadership expertise as a lead stores manager of a team of supply chain assistants.
* Ability to maintain adequate stock levels, mitigate risks in a supply chain function.
* A willingness to support stock reviews of inventory products at ward/department level.
* Proven ability to run systems and interrogate data for improved supply chain outcomes.
* Versatile self-starter able to work with autonomy
