Supply Chain Manager - Woking (Hybrid) - £Competitive

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a world-class technology and engineering consultancy who are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Your purpose:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing key suppliers as well as providing SME support on behalf of the Supply Chain function for bid and future contract activities.

Day-today duties:

* Supplier management and development relating to Business Unit PSL's
* Develop processes to support programmes in maintaining internal and external KPI's
* Drives supplier and service rationalisation
* Control MRP and consequent materials purchasing
* Responsibility for strategic and key supplier relationships
* Ensure that contracts for strategic and key suppliers have commercial rigour
* Work with the Engineering and Quality departments to ensure thorough and efficient resolutions to supplier quality issues
* Ensures that the appropriate supply risk and audit activities are conducted
* Conducts all procurement activity in accordance with the stated Ethic's and CSR policy
* Ensure that supply chain process align and compliment with other business areas such as finance and commercial

What we are looking for:

* Experience of supporting bids and authoring supporting artefacts including customer facing plans and proposals
* Commercial contract management knowledge
* MCIPS qualified
* Demonstrable track record of developing and maintaining strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
* Strong business acumen, with a good knowledge of supplier relationship management and collaboration models and approaches or techniques necessary to achieve best in class performance
