Senior Installation Engineer in Frimley, Surrey

ARM are recruiting for a Senior Installation Engineer for a Long term contract opportunity with a Key Defence Client based in Surrey.
This is a great opportunity to work on projects for a market leading defence client.
IR35 Determination: Inside
As a Senior Installation Engineer, you will be working on a key defence project and be responsible for;
* Configuration Management of the baseline for all CS Equipment.
* Conduct surveys/audits to ensure all processes and equipment align with what is required
* Work with key stakeholders to provide design input and specialist advice for the services, and infrastructure design and specification.
* Provide support as the interface between the Platform Installation team and wider project delivery teams
* Ensure all work is performing in accordance with SHE policies.
* Integration of newly installed combat system hardware and software products
* Testing and verification of combat systems products built by external suppliers as well as the internal Common Infrastructure team
* Fault finding and troubleshooting of hardware defects on installed equipment
You should have the following experience:
Essential:
* Experience of system level and integration testing
* Experience of testing military products
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Willing to work away from office
Desirable:
* Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in an engineering discipline
* Experience of testing military products
* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status Maritime industry experience
* Experience of DOORS for requirements capture
Due to the nature of the sector, you will need to hold current and active for UK Security Clearance.
