We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to come in and work with us on a Contractual basis. You will start at the beginning of the engineering lifecycle to develop subsystem solutions and specifications and work as part of the system integration team to realise those solutions.

You will work across a range of projects throughout various stages of the product lifecycle from initial concept development through to early life production support and on to support of existing fielded designs.

Day to Day you will -
Design of engineering solutions taking into account all requirements such as product quality, safety, reliability and testability.
Present robust engineering solutions at design and peer reviews to ensure technical accuracy of specifications, designs and reports.
Undertake project tasks covered by a statement of work, detailing input, processes and output together with cost/timescale constraints to ensure delivery of project objectives.

Key Skills we are looking for -
Knowledge and experience of all stages of the engineering development lifecycle
Experience of operating at the product system level
Specifying and defining COTS items (including RF)
Working with subcontract suppliers
IP Networking and Radio Systems
Experience of DFx (designing for cost, test and manufacturability)
Experience in System level and sub-system integration and debug.
Awareness of Safety, Security and other legislative constraints. Domain experience in Electronics Warfare and Electronics Countermeasures
