SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - MANCHESTER - PERMANENT - UP TO £60,000 DoE

ARM are working with a top international construction consultancy looking for a Senior Project Manager to support their upcoming construction project pipeline based from the Manchester office.

About You:

  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) would also be a plus.
  • Extensive experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on large and complex projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

What you will be doing:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage the full project life cycle from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Client Engagement: Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and delivering projects that exceed expectations.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership to project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure collaboration and effective project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met while maintaining profitability for both the client and the company.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that projects meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and open communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, and obtain necessary permits and approvals.

This is a full-time permanent role on a hybrid basis from the Manchester office, with fortnightly trips to the London office.
