Human Resources Consultant - Sheffield - Contract initially until December 2023 - Up to £22 per hour (Inside)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a local authority who is actively seeking a Human Resources Consultant to join them on a contract until December 2023.

The role requires contribution to the delivery of a positive and effective employee relations framework.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure that the HR contribution is planned and delivered effectively to maximise contribution to achieving the strategic objectives of the organisation
* Deliver HR services in line with the service offer and agreed standards required
* Deliver business solutions for customers through the application of expert technical knowledge and responsible management of risk
* Day-to-day technical/professional supervision of staff, mentoring other team members to build future capability and capacity, and providing technical advice to colleagues
* Provide easily accessible, user-friendly guidance and support material for publication to users

Requirements

* Degree or professional qualification and /or equivalent level of experiential learning or demonstration of transferable skills
* Experience within a large HR function
* Previous experience in HR and an understanding of HR policies, processes & system
* Developing strong relationships with a range of stakeholders - managers, customers partners, suppliers
* Strong interpersonal skills, self-awareness & empathy
