We are looking for an In-Service Electronics engineer to join us on a permanent basis. You will be joining a well-known Defence client and get the opportunity to work with various complex development projects. You will be responsible for all of the electronic aspects, design, repair, and maintenance for all In-Service projects and contribute to various stages of the lifecycle.

Day to Day you will be involved with -

• Supporting queries from production and action in an appropriate time-frame
• Maintenance of existing designs
• Supporting off-site trial activities
• Supporting the testing of high-voltage alternators using bespoke test equipment
• Conducting testing on-board customer platforms
• Specification of bespoke procured items
• Interfacing with related disciplines including Mechanical Engineering, Safety, and Production
• Following the engineering lifecycle and undertaking progress, peer and design reviews
• Designing, developing and demonstrating system integration's
• Responsible for complex cable assemblies

Key Skills and Experience we are looking for -

• HND or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering
• Experience of obsolescence replacement
• Understanding of basic analogue signal processing techniques such as active filtering
• Understanding of good power supply discipline and decoupling
• Integration, design proving and defect resolution
• Experience in, or a good understanding of, some or all of the following areas would be advantageous: Fibre Optics, Power Electronics, Test and measurement techniques
