My client are looking for an Electrical Fitter to join their team in Portsmouth. You will be on-site full time working as part of a larger manufacturing team, working on Small vessels up to 18 metres. You will be responsible for fault diagnosis, re-wiring, boat refits, repairs, operational defects, and upgrades. Ideally you will have experience within Motor/Mechanics/Automotive/ Ships/Hydrofoil ect.

As an Electrical Fitter you'll be responsible for -
Demonstrate strong SHE working practices, high standards, behaviour modelling across all areas
Removal, overhaul, repair, installation and testing of electrical equipment on a variety of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems
Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and defect rectification in accordance with the project schedules to meet customer quality expectations
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, overhaul and repair, installations various types of Mechanical Equipment such as: Yanmar diesel engines, Hamilton water jets (and other variants), drive shafts, fluid systems, hydraulic systems (steering, directional control) rudders, valves, pumps and associated ancillary equipment
Read/Interpret Electrical Drawings, MDS and Guidance information
Carry out Electrical Testing on 12v, 24v and 240v systems

Key skills my client look for -
Competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment
Fault-finding, troubleshooting and diagnostic testing knowledge and procedures
Qualification, experience and knowledge in electrical theory and principles (electrical qualifications)
Clear understanding of project milestones
