About You:

* The candidate will be 18th Edition BS7671 qualified
* The candidate will be experienced in electrical and instrumentation systems - Within engine development (using dynamometer test beds and test rigs) is advantageous.
* Experience with electric drives and controllers whilst also having +300VDC electrical experience is advantageous.
* Previous experience, being responsible for providing technical support on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
* Experience supporting electrical and instrumentation systems in new facility projects.
* Holding an HNC is advantageous.

The Role:

The candidate will work within the test engineering team on electrical and instrumentation topics - designing and building electrical systems for test rigs and safety systems. The candidate will support the specification of electrical systems in new facilities whilst supporting finding resolutions of electrical issues affecting the running of engine dyno, rigs, battery testing, and vehicle testing.
