Dynamics 365 F&O Architect

Contract: 6 months+ | Location: UK | Working: Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Architect to lead the architecture of a greenfield F&O implementation within a utility environment, following Microsoft's Success by Design methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture Design Sessions (ADS) and own the Solution Blueprint and architecture governance.
• Define functional architecture across F&O modules (Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, Project Operations and Supply Chain).
• Drive configure vs customise decisions and F&O extensibility strategy.
• Define environment, ALM, DevOps and release strategies.
• Own integration architecture across F&O, Salesforce, Power Platform, Azure and third-party systems.
• Define data migration, security, testing and performance strategies.
• Lead consultants and act as the technical authority across implementation and go-live.

Key Requirements

• Proven years' D365 F&O experience, including end-to-end greenfield implementations.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Success by Design, Architecture Design Sessions and FastTrack governance.
• Deep knowledge of F&O configuration, extensibility, X++ and integration patterns.
• Strong functional knowledge across core F&O modules.
• Experience with Data Entities, OData, Business Events, DMF and Dual-write.
• Strong understanding of F&O security, ALM/DevOps and Power Platform/Azure.
• UK localisation experience, including VAT and Making Tax Digital.
