Contract: 6 months | Start: Immediate | Location: UK-based Hybrid

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with proven years of experience, including significant expertise in data migration within the Energy & Utilities sector.
You'll lead and assure end-to-end data migration solutions, transforming legacy platforms into scalable, secure cloud-based data environments, with a strong focus on data quality, integrity and governance.
Key requirements:
- Solid Data Engineering experience, with strong data migration expertise.
- Data migration, including data mapping, reconciliation, full and delta management, historical data
- Proven Energy & Utilities experience, ideally across asset/network management, telemetry or SCADA data.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of DataOps, CI/CD, Azure DevOps and Git.
- Experience with data quality, governance, metadata, lineage and cataloguing.
- Ability to design scalable dimensional and canonical data models.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
- Experience leading complex migration programmes and mentoring engineering teams.
Immediate availability strongly preferred.
