SAP EWM Consultant

Contract: 12 months initially

Rate: 500-550 GBP

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation and ongoing support of SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions. You will work closely with business users, warehouse operations and IT teams to optimise warehouse processes, inventory accuracy and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SAP EWM BAU support, configuration and process optimisation.
• Translate business requirements into SAP EWM solutions covering inbound, outbound, internal movements and inventory.
• Configure EWM master data, including storage types, warehouse structure, work centres, resources and packaging specifications.
• Configure and optimise putaway, picking, replenishment, slotting and wave management.
• Support RF processes, labour management and warehouse order creation.
• Integrate EWM with S/4HANA/ECC modules including MM, SD, PP, QM and LE, plus warehouse automation such as conveyors, ASRS and AGVs.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis and maintain system stability.
• Support testing, UAT, cutover and implementation/rollout activities.
• Produce SOPs and provide end-user training and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders to deliver effective warehouse solutions.

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP EWM configuration.
• Experience across implementation, rollout and/or production support.
• Knowledge of SAP integration across MM, SD, PP, QM and LE.
• Experience with warehouse automation/RF processes would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience working across global and cross-functional teams.
