Shift Times - 8:45pm - 6:00am

As the Quality Lineside Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
Some of what you will be involved in:
- Investigate and support the resolution of Non-Conformities (NCs), assembly anomalies, and production issues
- Provide technical analysis, documentation, and support for corrective and containment actions
- Create and manage Design Query Notes (DQNs), rework work orders, and outstanding work
- Identify production issues and coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, and other support functions
- Support continuous improvement, Lean, and waste elimination initiatives
- Support the development, modification, repair, and calibration of jigs, tooling, and industrial assets
- Manage blocked and priority work orders to minimise production disruption and lead-time impact
- Provide technical information including drawings, part references, tooling, and relevant documentation
- Support the implementation and adherence of Health & Safety, quality, and production standards on the shopfloor
- Identify and support the resolution of near misses and other EHS concerns
- Support prioritisation and delivery of materials required for rework activities
Your skillset may include:
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment, ideally within aerospace or another highly regulated industry
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to investigate issues and translate technical information into practical shopfloor solutions
- Good understanding of production processes, quality, and continuous improvement principles
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple functions and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Lean/Operational Excellence, NC management, SAP, or similar production systems would be advantageous
