About You:
* MSc/ BEng in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering is advantageous.
* Automotive Experience - applying CFD analysis techniques in an appropriate engineering environment.
* Experience in steady-state and transient CFD analysis for both incompressible and compressible fluids.
* Good knowledge of CFD techniques including multi-phase and transient moving geometry simulation.
* A high level of proficiency in major CFD code, StarCCM+, and/or Converge is advantageous.
The Role:
* Perform analysis of the fluid flow in the engine, battery systems, and components to support projects
* Carry out fluid analysis using hand calculations and spreadsheets where required but principally using CFD
* Liaise with customers, project teams, and sub-contractors.
* Present results and recommendations of the analysis to the customer.
* Monitor project progress and provide feedback to project leaders.
* Help develop the company's CFD analysis capabilities.
