ARM are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Manager to work on a permanent basis with a leading client in the Nuclear industry.

What you'll be doing

  • To provide the day-to-day management of all workshop operations.
  • To provide the day-to-day management of all workshop personnel including labour forecasting.
  • To understand and manage risks associated with workshop activities, and lead on the risk assessment process for workshop activities
  • Responsible and accountable for regular workshop inspections and ensure HSE compliance in accordance with systems and procedures
  • To support the Project Managers in managing and planning the assembly, test, inspection, and site installation aspects of Projects.
  • To manage the goods in process including part inspection, and purchasing documentation, and certification documentation
  • To be responsible for final inspection and release approval of all equipment prior to release from the workshop
  • Understanding of GDPR/data protection legislation procedures and requirements in a highly regulated environment

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience working within a workshop environment
  • HND/HNC or equivalent within a relevant subject
  • Experience in managing a team
