Advanced Resource Managers are excited to support the UK's multi-award winning and market leading structural steelwork fabricator, to hire a Quantity Surveyor for their Northern Ireland division.

The purpose of this role is to support the Quantity Surveying department to ensure that the commercial and contractual aspects of projects are properly managed and controlled to an efficient manner to meet the demands of the business.

You will be responsible for the financial aspect of subcontract packages of work including steel erection, cladding and metal decking, as well as managing the cost control, utilising cost and value reporting and cash flow forecasting.

You will need to provide assistance, support and guidance on commercial issues and develop a culture of contractual awareness in project teams

Essential Skills

- Quantity Surveying background ideally in structural steel
- Ideally educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Client facing
- Ability to liaise and forge strong relationships with other departments personnel, proactively, such as production,
quality, design/detailing and the project management team
