Track Engineer in Reading, Berkshire

TRACK ENGINEER - READING - PERMANENT - MARKET RATE.

Advanced Resource Managers are looking for a Track Engineer for a globally leading company for public transport infrastructure, specialised in the mass transit and rail market. This is a permanent position based in Reading with a hybrid working model in place.

About You:
* You will have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
* You will be working towards incorporated or chartered engineer status.
* You will have experience with permanent way engineering, design and track components specification.
* You will be proficient at CAD.
* You will have knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with permanent way design.
* You will have knowledge of track engineering contract conditions and safety standards.

What you will be doing:
You will be producing permanent way engineering designs and reports for railway infrastructure projects to achieve the scope and quality. You will be ensuring project budgets and programmes are achieved providing technical guidance to the rest of the team and ensure safe design practices are adhered to.

This role is based in Reading and has a hybrid working model in place. This will be working 5 days a week during normal office hours.

The salary for this position is based on market rate and will be based on suitability and experience.
