We are looking for a Test Engineer to join us & be part of the Test Equipment Team providing comprehensive and effective Engineering support service for existing test equipment utilised in the UK. This role will provide engineering support delivering Test Equipment upgrades to the existing fleet of Test Equipment. The Test Equipment Team is part of the wider Torpedo In-Service Support Group.

Day to Day you will be responsible for -
To act as Test Equipment Hardware Engineer, providing comprehensive and effective Engineering support service for Underwater Weapon test equipment
To support Lead Test Equipment Engineer, in day to day activities to ensure Test Equipment availability
Diagnosing, surveying and maintaining a wide range of Special to Type and COTS Test Equipment
Influence and deliver design obsolescence tasks, including implementation of new hardware ensuring that its design aims and requirements are met
Compiles and approves designs, changes, tasks and concessions

Key Skills we are looking for -
Knowledge and experience with typical Automatic Test Equipment hardware including COTS instrumentation
Understand and carry out necessary activity to maintain the design standard of in-service Test Equipment
Have experience of how to perform the routine delivery of Test Equipment in use at local and customer sites
Potential to act as Design Authority for specified existing and new items of Test Equipment
Able to conduct electrical investigations into Test equipment issues
