An excellent opportunity has become available to work with a leading defence company in their new programme which will be delivering the technology of the future, based in Bristol.

Successful delivery of these programmes will ensure both the UK and my client retain combat capability, ensuring freedom of action for the UK and enabling the company to maintain our market share in the Naval, Defence Aero and combat markets.
Key Accountabilities include;
* Problem resolution
* Defining requirements; designing and integrating products, systems & product systems; performing technical analysis; verifying products, systems and components throughout the product lifecycle.
* Working on Non-conformance
* Concessions stats
Skills/ Qualifications:
* Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject or with equivalent experience.
* Understanding of gas turbine product operation, product systems, sub-systems and interactions.
* Experience in the design of systems using Systems Engineering principals including the use of Robust Design tools & techniques to achieve optimum solutions at product and sub-system level.
* Extensive problem resolution experience including ownership of, for example: root cause investigations, problem reports, Red Tops, Safety Alert Reports (SARs), Quality Concerns, Major Quality Investigations (MQIs), Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs)
Knowledge of the importance of determining, managing & flowing system level requirements
Planning and management of product change, design technical approval and technical investigations
Verifying that the system meets the requirements and ownership of standardisation reports
Good inter-personal and presentation skills
The ability to work with extended (i.e. not necessarily co-located) multi-disciplinary teams
