Test Engineer in Lancashire

PermanentThis is a permanent Test Engineer position, based just outside Preston, Lancashire.
Paying up to £40,000 per year.
Due to increased client demand, this role offers the unique experience of joining a team of Technicians and Engineers to work with a number of high-profile Tier 1 and OEMs in the automotive industry - no two days are the same.
Focusing on Driveline/ EDU testing,
You will be actively involved in all aspects of our test program life cycle, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Open to graduates with long-term right to work in the UK.
Role & Responsibilities
* Create risk assessments for the tests being undertaken.
* Ensure appropriate PPE is being worn at all times, and all health and safety measures are adhered to.
* Provide regular updates to our customers and ensure all deadlines for the projects are met.
* Deliver test reports accurately (RFT) and on time (OTD)
* Competently deliver tests to a high professional standard on time using the agreed level of resource.
* Review data, and validate the test results.
* Ensure equipment calibration is valid.
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
* Previous relevant industry work experience
* CAD
* High Voltage awareness (training will be provided)
Skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
