Material Controller in Guildford, Surrey

Material Controller - Dunsfold - Permanent - Up to £40,000 per annum

ARM is partnering with a leading Automotive company based in Guildford. A position has become available for a Material Controller to join them on a permanent basis.

The Material Controller will support the establishment and ramp-up of Logistics operations at a specialised, small-volume automotive manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities:
* Working closely with internal stakeholders to develop a Supply Chain strategy
* Investigate Stock discrepancies
* Liaise with Manufacturing and purchasing departments to avoid manufacturing delays
* Maintaining accurate records and manage / controlling weekly and monthly stock levels, delivery times and transport costs then coordinate and control the order cycle
* Support new model activities

Requirements:
* A degree (or equivalent) and ideally CIPS Qualified (Desirable)
* Experience of working in a similar industry would be an advantage
* Experience of ERP/MRP systems
* Excellent use of office products (Mainly Excel)
* Sound communication skills both verbally and written
