Stress Engineer in Bristol

ContractWe are looking for an Experienced Engineer with an Aerospace Engineering background
Responsibilities
* Assure proper planning, monitoring, and execution of all tasks and activities necessary for Repair Engineering to meet client deadlines.
* Provide answers to repair-related questions, including advice and direction on repair-related issues as necessary within Customer Support protocols and procedures.
* To produce accurate technical data for repairs, create, compile, and coordinate engineering documentation.
* Be a part of an integrated engineering team with the Repair Design and F&DT Engineers, ensuring that its strategy, philosophy, and direction are upheld.
You must be able to speak with people at different organisational levels, define goals, and prioritise according to time, cost, and quality. Provide integrated engineering solutions by the specified date. Use and promote strategic off-site engineering commercial collaborations where necessary to ensure the necessary flexibility and capabilities.
Essential Experience
* Minimum HNC/HND qualification and engineering experience.
* Aircraft structures using hand and computer methods.
* Stress Engineering background
* Understanding of the fundamental method of static stress analysis
* Ability to liaise/negotiate with Design, Customer Services and suppliers.
* Be conversant with technical requirements for repair design.
* Ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables.
