As the Stress Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be joining a team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads who are all passionate about finding technical solutions to support products by bringing a vast wealth of knowledge and experience. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

What you will be involved in:

• Supporting the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods, processes, and tools. This will include performing calculations to justify structural performance and creating appropriate documentation.
• Supporting the Design and Static stress disciplines with structural sizing and trade studies.
• Supporting the generation of Aircraft structures that are innovative and offer benefits to existing products and new incremental development. You will prepare the future product family.

Your skillset:

• Experience with tools like ISAMI or DAMTOL.
• Knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques.
• Studied engineering and have a structural analysis background, particularly fatigue and damage tolerance.
