Software Developer in Yeovil, Somerset

PermanentResponsibilities
- Creating software, developing technological solutions, and testing those solutions
- Adherence to project procedures and best practises for software development
- Assisting system integration and testing tasks
- The creation of technical documentation
- The team's work planned, scheduled, assigned, and reviewed
- Communicating with a variety of stakeholders and providing updates
Essential Experience
- Experience with C++ and Java
- Experience of modern libraries including STL, Apache libraries (NiFi etc)
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Linux or Windows development experience
- Ability and desire to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly
Desirable
- Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Python or Bash
- Docker experience
- Understanding of low-level computing concepts
