Senior Public Affairs Officer in London

Senior Public Affairs Officer - 3 Month Contract - London (Hybrid) - £28 per hour (Umbrella)

Advanced Resource Managers are looking for a Public Affairs Officer to join their Public Sector client in London at a senior level. This position is a 3 month contract and sits within IR35.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience within a government or political environment at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all briefings are complete in adherence to deadlines.
• Source information
• Prepare committees in parliament.
• Prepare commissioners and senior officers to appear before scrutiny comments at assembly.

Requirements

• Ideally 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of preparing government and parliament in assembly
• Experience changing policy and legislation and raising issues in decision making
• Strong writing and relationship building skills
• An interest in the political field.
