We have a great development opportunity with an industry leader within Defence. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will join a multidisciplinary engineering Team. In this role you will provide maintenance and support to a well know aircraft carrier.
In this role you will have full support and encouragement to train towards Networking Industry Certifications and onwards to Professional Registration to help develop your career.

You'll be responsible for -
Maintaining and maturing the detailed technical design
Implementation of the network aspects of Naval Networks architecture
Leading and supporting the testing of Network Releases
Leading and supporting for platform activities and other integration activities
Leading other team members to support upgrades, reconfiguration and fault finding
Leading and supporting ship integration and qualification testing

Key things we are looking for -
CISCO accreditation to CCNA level and/or Juniper JNCIA
Degree or HNC/HND qualified, likely to be in a technology, engineering or science related discipline or time served equivalent
Cleared to SC level (or ability to achieve this) and for ITAR material access
Meet the requirements for registration as Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and preferably be a member of a relevant Professional body
