Our client is looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to join their ever-growing team.

The Senior Firmware Engineer will be part of a team that will be supporting current and future designs.

This will include the following activities:

• Supporting existing and new firmware designs
• Implementing signal processing functions in VHDL
• Working with multi-functional teams

You will focus on being a technical focal point of all activity involved with supporting active and future designs including liaising with customers and the supply chain.

Required Experience:

• System Integration Testing
• VHDL
• Knowledge and experience of the product development lifecycle
• Firmware development lifecycle and integration
• XILINX Zynq including AXI
• Working alongside Electronics and Software Engineers
• Configuration Management

Active SC is required for this role.

Desirable Skills:

• Financial and progress management and reporting
• Able to work at a system level but also at low levels of technical detail.
• Awareness of tools such as DOORS, Vivado, QuestaSim
