I have a new opportunity with a leading defence client, who are actively looking for experienced Design Authority Systems Engineer. You will be involved in an exciting opportunity to support the development of new products.

What you'll be responsible for -
signing off the design as fit for purpose, compliant with requirements & safe
You will demonstrate detailed and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles in the design of new products, working alongside multi discipline engineering team
Apply and champion the systems engineering principles of ISO 15288 to the design of safe systems through the entire engineering life-cycle from requirement definition to system integration and customer acceptance into system support and disposal

Key skills and experiences -
Expert in principles and approaches underpinning design and development activities.
Demonstrates expert knowledge and experience of systems engineering, quality & safety applying holistic approaches to complex problems
Degree qualified in an appropriate discipline, or an equivalent level of competence.

The Design Authority Team:

As a Design Authority Systems Engineer, you will be involved in an exciting opportunity to support the development of new products and bring them to the market, with the chance to see the whole breadth of the lifecycle, from cradle to grave, and being accountable for the safety of the newly developed product.

You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders including International Navy's, with the opportunity to travel. Your personal development will also be fully supported by the team and the wider business.
