Senior Electronics Engineer in Basildon, Essex

ARM are recruiting for a Senior Electronics Engineer for a Long term contract opportunity with a Key Defence Client based in Essex.

This is a great opportunity to work on projects for a market leading defence client.

IR35 Determination: Inside

As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will be working on a key defence project and be responsible for;
* Supporting Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) programmes, the Senior Electronics Engineer will support new designs undertaking the following activities.
* Development of hardware solutions with a mix of in-house PCBs and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) modules
* Supporting Systems Engineers develop requirements and architecture
* Supporting the integration of hardware and software

You should have the following experience:
* Knowledge and experience of all stages of the engineering development lifecycle
* Experience of PCB level design (schematic capture)
* Integrating in-house designs with COTS modules (power supplies, single board computers, RF interfaces)
* Integration and verification of hardware systems experience
* RF design (connectorised not component level)
* Awareness of Safety, Security, and other legislative constraints

Due to the nature of the sector, you will need to hold current and active UK Security Clearance.
