Senior Commercial Manager - Havant - Permanent - £Competitive

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

As Senior Commercial Manager you will be responsible for handling contracts management functions associated with providing supplies and services. You will be responsible from capture through to proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.

Responsibilities
* Ensures Terms and Conditions compliance on assigned programmes, including flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers and general overview of team member contracts
* Independently define all risks, and create and implement solutions to problems and issues as they arise
* Independently identify, define and implement contract revisions and improvements in accordance with normal procedures
* Liaison with internal organisations, customers and suppliers in support of above and provide guidance and advise relevant to assigned and Teams agreements
* Organise and maintain contract files
* Ensure timeliness of all contract actions including document reviews, contract summaries and contract close in a complete and timely manner
* Leads and organises complex source selection and strategy
* Keep team leads and/or managers (as appropriate) appraised of current issues and their mitigation/resolution.

Requirements
* Must be confident in reviewing sets of terms and conditions and negotiating with suppliers/ customers.
* Identifying risks in RFP of supplier proposals/ identifying mitigation strategies.
* Good presentation skills
* CIPS qualification good - but not essential.
* Confident presenting to various levels of the organisation.
* Candidates must be eligible for security clearance.
