Legal Executive in London

Legal Executive - London - Permanent - £££ Negotiable - Dependent on experience

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a leading independent property and construction consultancy who are actively seeking a Legal Executive for a permanent position.

The Legal Executive will have the responsibility for drafting and negotiating bespoke forms of consultant framework and professional services agreements, sub-consultancy agreements, deeds of collateral warranty, deeds of novation, deeds of variation, and confidentiality agreements.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the drafting, negotiation and completion of bespoke professional services agreements
* Ensuring retention and regular updating of appropriate records in accordance with internal filing conventions and document management system protocols
* Identifying actual or potential conflicts of interest; liaising with the Legal Partner and assisting in resolution
* Researching new areas of legislation and other legal developments
* Incorporating legislative changes and best practice issues within appointment policies, documents and procedures, and liaising with the Legal Partner
* Supporting colleagues from time to time as directed by the Legal Partner

Requirements:

* Qualified solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or similar
* Understanding of professional standards and ethics and the need for confidentiality
* Ability to work within a team environment with a proactive attitude
* Able to communicate with people at all levels including main board partners
* IT literate and experienced in MS Office packages with working knowledge of electronic signature platforms
