Senior Civil Engineer in Birmingham, West Midlands

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER - WEST MIDLANDS - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT - £446 PER DAY

Arm are currently working with a Well-known railway company who are seeking for an experience Senior Civil Engineer based in Birmingham for a 6 months contract basis.

About You:
To qualify for this role you will need the following :
* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* You will need experience of railway civil engineering, with proven abilities in structures management, maintenance and inspection.
* To have the ability to build effective working relationships with clients at all levels & meet challenging deadlines.
* BCMI certification.
* Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification

What you will be doing:
Some of the key tasks in the role:
* Assessing risks of structural defects to inform prioritised actions in accordance with standards and asset management policy.
* Undertake designated specialist responsibilities e.g. Large and Unique Structures examinations, tenanted arches, additional exams on sensitive structures, coastal defence exams, underwater exams, annual competence reviews etc.
* Support the review and development of national standards relating to structures Asset Management.
* Support initiatives to develop the buildings & civils strategic direction and input to the CP6 bid process in the route and supporting negotiations with regulatory bodies.

This roles is will be Home Based but candidates must be able to attend the office in Birmingham.

The rate for this role is £446 Per Day (Umbrella) Inside IR35.

This role is a 6 Month Contract.
