Maintenance Technician in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - PETERBOROUGH - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - UP TO £26.55 PER HOUR

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing company, for a 6 month contract based in Peterborough.

About You:
* You will have an engineering apprenticeship or Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
* You will have knowledge of maintenance processes and tools, machine shop operations, equipment and processes.
* You will have the ability to read and interpret, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings and schematics.

What you will be doing:
You will be responding to testbed and other breakdowns using fault finding to effectively conduct repairs using a variety of techniques, cover the maintenance, repair and installation of new facility equipment and run improvement and root cause investigation projects.

You will also be balancing workload and priorities in line with business needs and training and supporting co-workers.

This role is based in Peterborough, with standard working hours.

The rate for this position is between £25 to £26.55 Per Hour (Inside IR35, umbrella), based on experience and suitability.

For our client, we are required to undertake a DBS and reference checks prior to starting. We also can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
