Senior CFD Software Developer in Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex

Are you an experienced CFD Software Developer seeking a new permanent role? We are supporting a permanent position that is based in Shoreham-by-Sea. Working within the development team for a company which drives forward and maintains its position of technical leadership.

Responsibilities
* You will have superb knowledge and experience in design, analysis and implementation of CFD methods
* Drive the development of the core of CFD solver and contribute to the solution of the engineering challenges facing the world through development of advanced CAE functionality
* Good experience of implementation of CFD methods in commercial or academic codes in at least one of the following areas: pressure-based methods, linear solvers, turbulence modelling, complex mesh

Requirements
* Masters / PHD (preferred) in CFD with reasonable experience in research and development in CFD
* Knowledge of fluid mechanics and computational methods
* Experienced within the applications of CFD using in-house , open- source or computational models
* Must have superb programming skills using modern programming languages - for example FORTRAN C / C++
* Experienced within the development and implementation of computational models
* Knowledge of Linux/Windows development environments and revision control systems is desirable
* Application area of expertise in one of the following will be considered and advantage;
o conjugate heat transfer/cooling
o rotating machinery
o combustion processes
o external aerodynamics
