Quantity Surveyor in York, North Yorkshire

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - YORK - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - MARKET RATE OUTSIDE IR35

Advanced Resource Managers are working with a company who strives on leading the transportation sector, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a 12 month contract.

About You:
* You will have prior experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor position.
* You will have experience working in contracting commercial department.
* You will have the ability to provide guidance on quantification, costing of construction works and task elemental cost analysis.
* You will have an appreciation of conflict avoidance, management and dispute resolution procedures.

What you will be doing:
You will be proactively administering sub-contract accounts from project start up through to final account, accurately reporting sub-contract liabilities, and raising payments and issue notices strictly in accordance with contractual and legal requirements.

You will also be providing records which identify progress, delays and controlled change management, contributing to event registers and entitlement documentation.

This role is based in York.

The rate for this role is based on Market Rate, outside IR35. It can be negotiated based on experience and suitability.

For our client, we are required to undertake a DBS and reference checks prior to starting. We also can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
