Quality Control Inspector in Croydon, London

Our client is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in the Croydon area.

The role will involve manual and CMM inspection of mechanical components produced in-house on CNC machines, goods inwards receiving surveillance, and the monitoring of production process control.

The ideal candidate would have:
* Proven experience in an ISO 9001 Quality Control role in a manufacturing engineering environment.
* Experience in programming and operating CMMs.
* Experience using ERP systems.
* Knowledge of drawing standards, including GD&T.
* Excellent communication and team player skills.
* MS Office Package knowledge and skills.
* Ability to work to set delivery schedules.

Responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to:
* Carry out inspection of material, products and components.
* Manage goods receiving inspection processes.
* Review documentation associated with materials, components and WIP for accuracy and completion.
* Perform calibration and inspection of tools, gauges and equipment.
* Produce and manage digital and analogue files following company processes and procedures.
* Support purchasing by providing supplier quality control resources.
* Perform routine checks on quality standards and compliance.
* Identify and report any suspected deviation from quality standards or processes during manufacture.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM and Friday 8.00 AM to 12.30 PM (37.5 hrs per week).

Our client is willing to offer up to £37,000.00 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
