Project Engineer – Diagnostic Software Development And OTA in Gaydon, Warwickshire

Are you an experienced in Diagnostic Software Development and OTA seeking a new permanent role? We are supporting a permanent position that is Based in Gaydon.
You will be dealer and Engineering Diagnostics Software Development including OTA (Over The Air) diagnostics and CeBas (Cyber Security) requirements

Responsibilities
* Develop (design and code) and maintain the Engineering and Dealer diagnostic tool suite. Which includes: -
o Adding new sub services to the application to accommodate new requirements as the companies' projects and client services evolve.
o Maintenance of the existing services and liaising with the R&D engineers responsible for the service content.
o Maintain and develop the diagnostic server system, working with the company IT department.
o Develop and code diagnostic procedures for use with the companies' dealer and engineering diagnostic applications.
* The successful candidate may, on occasion, be required to travel to other sites to assist with maintenance issues. The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company's objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.

Requirements
* Extensive application development using C# and VB.net.
* A good knowledge of XML, development and the implementation of Web Services on a
* Microsoft IIS server platform.
* Some understanding of vehicle diagnostics, for example, ISO14229 and UDS specifications
* The ability to both design and code software applications based on changing requirements.
* An understanding of the OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) requirements and the NIST cyber security framework.
* Have good clear interpersonal skills and be willing to interface with engineers and other personnel from various other company departments.
