Principal Engineer – Vehicle NVH Testing in Bedford, Bedfordshire

Must be on-site, with flexibility to travel.

Role requirements:

Responsible for leading a team of Test Engineers and answering technical questions.
Technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.
Validation of testing methodologies and analysis
Develop test procedures to meet ISO17025 standards.
Maintain budgets.
Lead integration and cross-pollination of Durability and Measurement tests in various locations in the UK and wider.
Provide quotations and specification of new and bespoke test and measurement activities
Management of complex multi-disciplinary projects incorporating multiple internal and external testing suppliers
Undertake analysis of results, including statements of conformity, opinions and interpretations
Reporting, reviewing and data analysis for test results.
Compliant to ISO17025

Essential:
Relevant engineering degree or extensive experience in similar field(s)
Ability to gain SC clearance (UK National & 5 years residency)

Desirable:
Chartered engineer
Advanced data processing (nCode Glyphworks desirable)
Data acquisition and instrumentation (DeweSoft desirable)
Vibration and noise data collection and analysis
Human body vibration
Sound power measurement
