Performance Systems Engineer in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

ARMs client is seeking a contractor for an 18 month contract: a Performance Systems Integration Engineer located in the United Kingdom primarily working from our Peterborough Campus. As the Performance Systems Integration Engineer, you will utilise innovation and creative thinking to help define and evaluate concepts for future IPSD engine and powertrain performance system technology recipes.

In this role you will support new technology projects, working alongside other highly talented Performance Systems Integration engineers, to provide creative ideas and concept selections for future IPSD products. You will have opportunity to collaborate across IPSD, working with partners in Research, Systems, Components, Electronics and Product teams to enable world class Power System solutions to be selected for product development and brought to market.

Key Skills and Experience:

* IC engine calibration or performance simulation
* An accredited Engineering/Science/Technology, Bachelors/Masters degree or PhD
* Strong data analysis skills
* Able to communicate technical information effectively.

Desirable Skills or Experience:

* Knowledge of aftertreatment systems (SCR, DOC, DPF)
* Experience with using MATLAB and/or Simulink
* Experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools.

Hybrid working - minimum 2 days onsite. Expectation to work on site more frequently while training as a 'settling in' period.

Core hours 08:30 - 16:45 Mon-Thurs, 08:30-16:15 Fri. Flexibility around this.
