Role purpose:
This role is for a Network Architect to support development of the clients Fixed Connectivity underlay Product range. The clients underlay Product range provides high speed connectivity across a global footprint targeted at branch and data centre connectivity.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Relevant higher education in a related field (computer science / networking field)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Fixed Connectivity and particularly Metro Ethernet Forum products
  • OSS/BSS integration experience
  • Service Design knowledge
  • Safe Agile Awareness or even better Certified

This role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Product architecture deliverables for underlay product features
  • Contribute to agile product backlog EPIC's, capabilities and features ensuring adequate acceptance criteria
  • Document solution options as part of the Technical Product Feasibility
  • Document the selected solution as part of the Product high-level design
  • Review solution context and low-level specification for OSS/BSS platform changes
  • Manage third party deliverables ensuring clear terms of reference and statements of work
  • Ensure project expenditure is in line with budgetary commitments
  • Work in a large-scale virtual team to determine product and service building blocks and how they interact with each other
  • Provide technical leadership with the virtual team and facilitate seamless integration between solution building blocks
  • Engage with operational and support functions to collect and discuss requirements and solutions
  • Present solution to technical and not technical audience and run know-how transfer sessions
  • Endeavour to be a pro-active team player, capable to be part of a high-performance team, capable to deal with multiple workloads and prioritizing the most relevant activities
