My client who is a leading high-end residential and also commercial contractor is looking to add a Mechanical Designer to their team.

Main Duties to include:

Design of HVAC, hot and cold water and above ground
drainage systems, using Hevacomp
Produce detailed specifications and plant schedules.
Attend Client and Design Team meetings.
Ensure that design takes full regard of all health and safety requirements.
Consideration of environmental issues.
Produce mechanical design layouts which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the specifications and client requirements.
Ensure that standard practices are utilised wherever possible.
Co-ordinate designs with all other disciplines internal and
external to ensure that all design elements are fully co-ordinated.

Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.

Experience:
You'll have worked in a similar role previously and have the proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
All levels will be considered from Junior to Senior engineers.

Qualifications:
HNC/HND level minimum
Chartered Engineer status an advantage but not essential
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
Training can be provided on Hevacomp if required.
