M&E Operations Manager

Sussex Region - based out of Brighton.

£70 -77k + £5k car allowance

My client who is a £50m + turnover M&E Contractor is looking to recruit a M&E Operations Manager for the Sussex Region.

In this exciting position, you will be the key point between the Contracts Managers and the Regional Director.

Role / Responsibilities:

Attend sales, tender review, and mark-up meetings as necessary.

Attend estimating to contracts/design handover meetings as necessary and ensure the project team has a full understanding of agreed VE, scope of works, and any pertinent decisions made to secure the project at the agreed contract order value.

Attend strategy meetings and support the directors to establish the best operational approach and financial outcome for the project.

Ensure the procurement process is followed, tender review meetings to take place prior to making any commitments to clearly define the right scope of works at the best possible price.

Ensure that progress reports are completed, issued on time, and contain the correct level of information.

Ensure regular meetings are held with clients during the construction phase and discuss any program issues at the earliest stage.

Ensure commissioning program is achievable.

To undertake senior management audits on each respective project, ensuring full compliance with all our company policies/procedures

Establish a positive working relationship with the client at the earliest stage, ensuring expectations can be mutually agreed and lines of effective communication are maintained at the appropriate levels.
